Not getting hot water with out heating on potterton kingfisher mf cf50?

My potterton kingfisher mf cf50 will only heat water when heating cuts in could anyone suggest a solution as I don't fancy having the heating turned right up as it gets to warm. Many thanks

NO DHW [unless CH on]
CH OK
the problem is not the boiler
more likely are the external controls
ie
motorized valve
timer/programmer
cylinder stat
would have to test each component to make sure its sending switch live
you would have to be electrically competent in order to test these components
otherwise its a case of calling a professional

the only information on the label inside the boiler cover is Potterton Kingfisher Mf CF50 242278 AHLZ 7 44 00 36, not sure what Y and S plan are. The timer is Horstman Centaur Plus C27 and the room stat is Satchwell
