Mend Flavel Victoriana EL Oven Light

how can I repair my Flavel Leisure Victoriana EL?

The oven will light but whereas the flame would intensify after say 1 minute, it no longer does so and the oven fails to heat up sufficiently. Whats is required to fix it & is it a possible DIY job?
