pressure keeps rising to just under 3psi on worcester bosch 24i junior?

problems with worcester bosch 24i junior pressure keeps rising to around 3 and red warning light then flashes - key has been used but is now stuck in place, can only control problem by pressing reset and turning down thermostat which controls central heating, any advice gratefully received.
