How can I replace a Creda Cordialle Cooker door ignition switch?

How can I replace a "Creda Cordialle double oven" Cooker door ignition switch. It seems to me I have to start with removing the inner side plate from the oven by removing the screws. Is this correct and does this expose the switch? Is it straight forward or is there something I need to be wary of?
