Mend Dishwasher Doesnt Work

dishwasher doesn't work?

Last week we did the dishes and they didn't come out clean.Water fills up in the bottom and then it does nothing.If you hit the drain button it drains but I can't get it to do anything else

Possibly heater, or heater thermostat. you will need a test meter to check them, to find out which.
