veritas alarn r8 plus setting when powered up ?

veritas alarm r8 plus with key pad ,the panel was bleeping intermittantly so i messed about with the codes .the unit has been ok since it was installed by myself about a year ago ,so i powered the unit down to try and fsvtory reset but now when powered up the unit does not saccept any codes and starts counting down and alarms any help andy
