Can I fix a blue screen on start up on a Toshiba 3357db ctv?
I have acquired a Toshiba 3357db ctv and after mains switch on all I get is a bnlue screen - no channels just a blue screen. Could anyone tell me if this is reasonably a financially repair or a scrapper on the recycle circuit.
Sounds like you might have another device attached (VCR, STB, DVD) via the SCART socket? If so disconnect everything except the aerial and try again. This TV is a DTT (Freeview in the UK) receiver isn't it? If it is it needs tuning. Try the menu button. If your TV doesn't have an inbuilt DTT tuner, try putting a post in the Television section. (This is for DDT receivers.)
