Air built up in central heating system due to blockage?
My radiators wont fill. The system is making a racket as their is so much air in it. Im certain theirs a blockage between the fill tank in the attic and the pump in the cupboard underneath. How can I get rid of this blockage?
its what they call a blocked cold feed .trace pipe from tank in loft to were it joins system usually a 22mm tee the blockage is usually their.might get lucky give it a tap with screwy.other wise drain off ensure header tank empty before removing tee and cleaning out .could back fill system using hose pipe from tap to rad
