heater resistor window problems?

hi its me again,
the resistor is under the heater motor,to get at it you have to remove the wiper linkage ,the plastic scuttle,the pollen filter housing,the cover from the blower,and then the motor itself,sounds like a few hours work. anew resistor block from vauxhall is just under £30
when i find the time i will have a go at sorting it out,let you know how i get on, john

hi,look on ebay for a picture of the resistor item number 180086737983,the vox forum is very useful via google.it seems like a lot of people have the same problem,but as yet nobody has an answer to where it is and how to repair it.i,ll let you know if i find out,
