Mend Bolens BL100 Gas Trimmer Years

Why is gas steadily flowing out of my trimmer?

I have a Bolens BL100 gas trimmer that is around 3 years old. I went to get it ready for the season and noticed that the gas lines were brittle and cracked. I replaced them with neew lines, and now it leaks gas. The fittings all seem to be tight enough, but it leaks gas even when it is not running. What do I do?
