Mend Yamaha Vity 125 Cutting Out

yamaha vity 125 engine cutting out?

my scooter engine keeps cutting out. It initially stops revving at the throttle, then when I come to a halt it cuts out altogether. When this happens, I have to turn the ignition off, before it restarts. it does generally fire up first time.
The engine cuts out randomly at various speeds.

Yamaha vity 125 reg AN59FGN... I have an engine management light flashing 4 slow flashes then 6 fast flashes. I have had a look at some forums but. Nothing that helps. can you shed some light on this problem please. Many thanks. Barry lane. Lanes auto fix. Moulton. Newmarket. Suffolk.
