All 4 hobs are lighting with one bar only or none for most dial settings but some heats bring on both so I doubt if the tubes have worn out.The switches still click so I think the wiring to these may have perished? Has anyone tried this repair before I get the screwdriver out.
it is the switches themselves that wear out and they are no longer available, shame great hob

Yes hobs are repairable but you need to identify whats faulty, basically you need a meter to check to check the elements for continuity if ok you need to find where the the break down in power supply is ,ie the leads the regs or the toc across the plate tops
