how can i get my immobiliser to work again?

my son 17 decided to fit a sub woofer in his car tonight he disconnected the positive from the battery to do this! now its fitted it seems his immobiliser wont allow the car to start he has a 2000 w reg clio grande 1.2 !! kids!!! any help or advice would be appreciated
