Mend SAM ER-420M Bought Hand Turned

SAM 4s ER-420M "Sequence Error"?

Hi,

I just bought a second hand SAM 4s ER-420M cash till. Turned it on a presssed a few key, and a "Sequence Error" came up ". Days latter I'm in dispair - nothing helpful in the mannual or on-line. I can't do anything with the till now. How can a reset the till or get rid of the fault. HELP!!!

The manual should be helpful. Maybe you have the wrong one. You should have this manual:

Look at the section called "initial clear" first. if that doesn't work, you may have to RAM clear it (all clear)
