thanks for that imfo , would it mean i have a broken ring or sum thing like that. when i put the fuel cleaner in the filter and tank do i need to blead it and how do i get it into the fuel filter.

White smoke is an indication of unburnt fuel so it could be a dripping injector into the cylinder/. s when the engine is stopped. Try adding half a can of fuel cleaner directly into the fuel filter and the rest into the fuel tank and take it for a good blast high revs to help clean the injector tips of carbon deposits
