Mend Candy CIN 100T Turns Washing Stops

My Candy CIN 100T is in a world of it's own!?

My Candy program switch turns around on it's own when washing. Click click click. It then stops at a random place and will overide the programme selection I have chosen. If I replace the programmer will this solve the problem or do I need to replace and program the programmer?

just replace the switch at the back of the selector knob, normally its selecting a programme while machine is switched on that causes the problem
