How to replace cable on a Russell Hobbs 15081 steam iron?

The cable has been damaged and I need to replace the cable. How do I remove top half of the handle without damaging it.

it must have screws on it , unscrew the cover to get at the wires , get the same wire thats on it at hardware, just copy the wireing, and put the cover back on , not a hard job to do once you can get to the wireing.
