How do I drain broken washer?

My Kenmore 70 decided to die on me today. I smelled an awful electrical burning smell and it no longer turns on or does anything. I would like to at least drain the water out. Does anyone know how to do this.

One other question. Last time I had a problem it cost 150 to fix and it wasn't even the motor. Is it worth it for me to have someone look at it this time?
