can I stop my alarm going off intermittently throughout the night,by entering engineering code and leaving in programming, untill I can get hold of a new battery.Or do I disconnect it from the mains and remove the battery??,thanks.

dont tpouch the mains,when you change the battery remove the fuse from the fused spur,then open the case replace the battery,rem to putbred to red black to black,close case replace fuse then reset the panel,never work on a live panel ,ok?

yes you can,if you got the engineering code,replaced the battery then exit the engineering mode
