the first thing you should do is contact Microsoft directly_ just go to their website and follow 'contact us' directions for troubleshooting_ they normally get back to you within about 48hours and their directions for resolving a problem are usually quite easy to follow_
when you looked at add/remove software did you look on the left side panel of the window? u should see a button for adding/removing windows operating software_ when you click on this a new list appears with all the options that are available to your PC_ the ones with a tick next to them are those that have been installed and are running_ to add new windows software tick one of the empty boxes and click 'OK' (though you might be prompted for a Windows Setup disk to be placed in your CD drive) Alternatively_ to get rid of one of the options then remove the tick next to it and click 'OK'_
to be honest i can't recall if advanced uninstaller is in the list or not_ but no harm in looking so try_ though on this occasion i would advise you to ask Microsoft_ I'm loathe to admit it_ but their service and turn around time is actually very impressive
