Mend Zanussi jetstream 1400 Code Door Replaced

what to do when E40 code still displayed after replacing the door interlock?

I have replaced the door interlock on my zanussi jetstream 1400 but the E40 code is still displayed and the machine will not work. what do I do next ?

if wiring is OK it is a blown main pcb.did the old lock have the brown mark in the middle of it?. Common issue that is known to damage main pcb unfortunately!
