Mend Showing Number Reset

Why won't my till stop beeping or showing max number of 0's on the screen?

I've tried to infamous reset!! Nothing..... The screen just shows 000000000000 and then the only button that works in the PAPER feed, but that seems to try and print something every time (when it shouldn't) and then simply continues to repeatidly BEEP at me!! Until I switch it off....
PLEASE help!!!
