Mend Hotpoint DWF31 Aquarius Time

Programme issues with hotpoint aquarius dwf31?

When a programme is selected, either 2hrs or reduced time is displayed on the timer. After the cycle has finished the dishes still have a residue on them,and they seem not to be dry.
Can anyone help.:-(
