ea code?

Hi - looking after friend's house and central heating packed in. It's a Worcester combi boiler and EA message flashing. Using advice from this forum already I've drained water from underneath and as I couldn't defrost pipe (runs length of garage roof) I cut pip inside as suggested by someone. Still getting same error code flashing. Would appreciate any help please - freezing cold & want to get sorted for their return!
