i bought vtech innotab for my grandson and he accidental crack the screen. what can i do to get it replace or repair. in the warranty it states that it doesn't cover accident. so, why do we buy warranty for, it should cover everything, right

Bought for this Christmas? In this case, it must still be under waranty.
Bring it back to the store where you bought it and ask for a replacement as this unit was obviously deffective.
I don't know for Ireland, but here in Canada, there is an implicit legal useability waranty in addition to any explicit waranty.
