how can i fix my bissell dirtlifter power brush carpet shampooer?

When mine stopped spraying I found the problem to be the water tank stopper on the bottom was not being pushed open. If you remove the water tank and pour a little water in the hole and it sprays a little water thats your problem. A further test is to put a small screw in the receiving hole and place the filled tank back on, if you get a good spray of water theres the problem. The tank is not seating properly. Hope this helps with your problem.
