Mend Piaggio 58 plate Started Start

My bike is dead?

I bought a piaggio 58 plate before Christmas and it started when delivered - however I've not been able to use it since then and it just won't start now. I've charged the battery thinking it was that, but stilll nothing
This is my first bike and i'm disappointed
Any ideas ????

no petrol, main fuse blown, immobiliser fault.

make sure sparkplug is sparking first.

or after doing what fz1 says pore a little drop of petrol down the spark plug hole replace the spark plug quikley and try again.

remove spark plug and warm it on a gas flame.get it nice and warm.refit carefully and try to start
