Mend Tevion Wrong Power Cable

What is wrong with my TV?

I have a Tevion LCD TV which recently is not turning on corretcly from standby we are having to take out the power cable and replace for it to switch on and we are getting intermittement sound, this morning it is now just displayingg the continous standby light with a faint buzzing sound we have replaced the power cable but nothing?
