e4 fault and water leak kenwood kdw243aa?
I have a kenwood kdw243aa dishwasher which is not draining properly, e4 is coming up on the panel and there is water in the sump I have removed the water and cleaned any debris etc. salt and rinse aid lights were on these have now been added, now when I try to run a cycle to see where the problem is I can not select a program. I found out that if I hold the timer button down 18 appears in the panel and the machine starts to operate every time I press the programme button the number reduces down by 1 each time until I get to 10 when there is no more changes I am assuming this is a diagnostic feature of the machine to test each part of the cycle. When I quickly ran through these the drain pump was getting hot after a minute or so I removed the pump the drain hose is clear , the impeller was turning freely apart from the magnetic resistance ,there was an elastic band in there which I have removed , so the machine is now ready to go , also there was no water in the sump after I ran the test cycle,Can I reset the machine/does it need reset, are there any float sensors for overfilling or sump water
