Samsung LE19R86BD Electrical Crackle?

I have a Samsung LE19R86BD 19" screen. I have had it for about two years now. Its mounted on the wall in my kitchen and so hasn't moved since purchase. Yesterday whilst in the kitchen, I could hear a quiet crackling sound. I discovered that it was coming from the tv. It only makes the noise when in standby, as soon as you switch it on it stops????? Any ideas would be hugely appreciated.
