how can i fix my reverse lights on my nissan micra 1.4se diesel?

my reverse lights stop working i checked bulbs they were ok and fuses were fine what else could it be?

Nissan Nissan Micra 1.4se Vehicles, Cars Nissan Working Checked

Its the switch on the gear box is it manuel geard.look around the gear box thair should be a plug with 2 wires on a screwed im conector usualy near gear rods,unscrew n replace,if its lower than 3 inches from bottom of gear box you may loos gear oil have new switch ready ,dont get oil on drive,,
