Hi,
I changed the radio on a nissan micra 2001 automatic (Jap import) everything working fine now except the dashboard and gearstick lights are not working? I have checked all the fuses beside steering wheel and under bonnet and all are fine. Can anyone shed any light on what could be wrong and more importantly how can I fix this.

I checked all the wiring all seemed fine. I also fully disconnected radio and still no lights? There was mention on other sites of nissan micra radios being grounded differently to normal radios.. Are there any other fuse locations that I could be missing or is there a chance that the bulbs for both dash and gearstick are now blown?

check the wiring to the radio or disconnect it to see if all works again
