Will you please instruct me as to how to raise and lower the stairlift,?

hi there...going by the type of remotes you said you have,,it could be possible the stairlift is a straight rail stannah 420 model or a stannah curved rail 260 model.depending on the rail you HAVE!! ....both models run on batteries so make sure the spur supply to the charger is switched on,this would be found top/bottom of stairs near the rail..then checked to see if the isolator switch is on..between the wall and main carriage on the 420 model,,,260 model on the front of carriage both need to be switched down...then check the key switch on the armrest of the chair is switched on........hopefully this should work any problems let me know,,,,,,,ian....portsmouth/uk
