IF you want to know how to replace it, around front of unit, I seam to remember 5 maybe 6 torx head bolts, cannot remember size, but need to be long drivers, not plug in bits. (remember something about locking fan blade with screwdriver to unscrew something, but might of been to go further, oh yes again long torx needed in middle of drive shaft, but not sure if needed to do for cover, but you know now anyway) Once front cover is off, couple of bolts hold unit in, once end of new cord tied off, put together and wind the cord around, poke through hole, alowing for an extra 1/2 turn or so, so that enough tension to pull it all the way in, Test that it pulls all the way out, and returns fully, adjust amount of turns extra if needed. Refit all. Done
