Have tried everything in manual under trouble shooting. Alarm will not set have done all the walk test, strode test etc. But when we try to set it always highlights zone 3 and beeps 9 times. We have link tested the detector in zone 3 and does not appear to be a fault with the detector as prolem was not solved. Have tried programming to omit zone three and when we try to set it still lights zone three up on control panel and beeps 9 times. Have stretched spring on tamper button but still can not set - anyone have any idea's?? thanks

DUH.
The manual tells you that beeping 9 times is a TAMPER FAULT, indicated as being on ZONE 3.
