Cause of beeping on Fisher and Paykel MW511 Washing Machine?

Lights 3rd, 4th and 5th are on, with continuos beeping. Fills machine with water, but does not continue

That is fault code 56 which has several possible causes. When machine finishes filling & again when drained empty the bowl status is checked by the controller by a series of short movements for a few seconds. This fault means that the controller is not getting the correct reading. Can be caused by;
1. Overloading too much clothes.
2. Incorrect water level for the amount of clothes or water level dropping after the fill has completed. This can happen if the water is syphoning out of the drain pipe. If water is coming out of the drain while filling or washing then something is wrong.
3. Can be caused by clothes or something stuck under the inner bowl. Take bowl out to check.
4. Faulty RPS sensor on the motor.
5 If all the rest are ok then change the main control board.
