Mend Potterton Prima F100 Boiler Heating

how can i fix my potterton prima f100 boiler? ?

When i call for hot water or heating on the controller the pumps sounds like it starts but then stops again and the boiler does not fire up. I have left the boiler switched off overnight and in the morning it fires up but later on it will not ignite again. This has happened a few times now, why does this always happen when its freezing!!! can anyone help please
