Mend Had Water Spilled

How do I fix a TV that had water spilled on it?

A glass of water was spilled on my tv. I wiped the spill as quick as I could, making sure to wipe under the tv as well. My tv now flips the channels by itself, as if a button were stuck, even though there are no depressed buttons. It won't respond to the remote. I don't know if I should just let it dry out, or if there is something else I can do to fix it. Help please.
