how can i fix radio?

How do u fix a radio on a 2001 fairmont? the ERR wont go away, i have tried putting the ignition to I and waiting an hour like the ford dealer told me but it didnt work. we have checked fuses, taken out the battery and putting it back in and still the ERR wont go away
