Mend Aqualisa Aquavalve 609 Works Intermittently Turn

Aqualisa Cartridge?

Hi my Aqalisa Aquavalve 609 power shower works intermittently when I turn the on/off control knob. How do I know if it is the microswitch or the cartridge that is faulty? Also how do I replace either?
