Mend Halstead Ace High Boiler Heating Dhw

I have a Halstead Ace high. ?

The DHW activation pin does not move enough to close the contacts on the DHW flow switch. If i operate the switch manually boiler fires ok. I have taken off the end where the pin come out but there is limited access. I have ordered a new diaphram but welcome any advice. Heating works fine
