De Dietrich dishwasher is blocked and wont drain, I have cleaned all the filters, but still wont drain

dishwashers dont norm get blocked,check the drain hose where it connects to the drain pipe under sink,on some machines the circulating pump motor acts like a drain pump,i.e.it reverses direction,to pump water out,instead of circulating it.
