screws not tightening in the diaphram housing?

Changed the diaphrams and when i tryed to tighten the housing back the screws just kept turning and not tightening, so the plastic threads must be knackered, is they any way to get around this?

you can replace with nut and bolt ,you might have to drill
new one,or self threading screw might do
