The top panel of the grill has dropped down onto the element and the two screws will not hold it up again because there does not appear to be any metal to screw them into. How do I re-attache the panel back up again please?
Sometimes, a clip is used to fit the screw into, check for that, could be out of position, If the hole where the screw is to fit, is about twice the diameter of the screw, clip was used, replacements are available, very common hareware item. failing that, larger diameter screws to fit the hole, or nut and bolt type of thing, lots of options
