how do i open my bonnet on my ford mondeo 54 plate when the key does nothing when i turn it either way

I've been through the dealers manual and it seems you will have to drill the lock out and fit a new one.

On a lot of late Fords you have to use the ignition key to open the BONNET, it's all part of the improved security measures
