You need to take off the kick start casing you will find a cog wheel it has bent over pieces of metal which in gauge
with the kick start mechanization if they are broken then you will need to replace the cog wheel. Around the cog wheel there are teeth which in gauge with the starter motor check them. There also is a think called a pinion which in gauges the kick start also check for wear plus check kick start spring. Can be tricky putting back together so be careful not to drop the casing other wise it will the spring will fall out HOPE THIS HELPS
