wd420 hotpoint aquirius washer dryer fast spinning whilst drying?

I have a hotpoint wd420 washer dryer with a couple of problems. Firtsly the fast spin cycle seems to be working but clothes come out absolutley soaking as if its not spinning enough or not draining properly. Also whilst drying it will suddenly go into fast spin which im sure isnt right whilst its meant to be drying. Its had a new element fitted which works but it still isnt drying properly. Can anyone help me with this?
