Analogue clock/timeswitch not not working on Vaillant boiler?
I've just moved in to a flat and the clock on the boiler is not working - it was until around 24 hours ago but now the time/hands etc are not moving. The heating will engage/disengage if I move the time on manually or just switch to always on but the clock itself seems to have 'stopped'. Is there a simple fix please or is it possible I inadvertently did something to stop it from working? Any advice much appreciated - thanks. PS It looks like the timeswitch 130 or very similar.
I’m on my THIRD in 5 years and have tried everything I can think of (including exchanging parts) but the only solution has been to bite the bullet and buy a new on at £50+!!! They are delicate, useless and expensive - be warned.

I bought a new timer (easy fit), which seemed to work for a while but now stops whenever it changes from on to off, but perfectly ok when moved manually! Went back to the old (previous) clock which again worked absolutely fine until it changes (via the pin
things) from on to off then stops - baffled!!

Generally speaking, replacement sounds your only option.
