Samsung sps 1000 buttons are not working?

I have a samsung sps 1000 and I have a block of 10 buttons that will not work..(they wont make a sound when pushed or function) I have fixed it in the past and cannot remember how.. It will not let me use the clear, no sale ..down aarow. as well as programmed plu's .... any help will be appreciated

That is usually a keyboard membrane fault. the lack of a beep is a tell-tale sign that the membrane needs repair.
