Mend Cannon Cambridge Oven Work Light

Can I bypass the clock on a Cannon Cambridge double oven?

My parents have a cannon cambridge double oven. The clock/timer doesnt work and this means the oven doesnt light. They dont need the clock or timer so can it be bypassed.

on my oven, i dont use anytimer or clock , i just turn the over knob to any temp,and press , selector" and the oven comes on, i dont have the clock set to the right time, as i knock the power off at night, so if im not setting the clock or timer to any time the oven still works,,
